Videos

At dinner tonight Bruce was trying to teach Madi how to make fart noises. Well Madi decided that she would give it a try.  Of course we laughed, she loved the reaction, and continued to do it. (I know, I know. We are so mature)
This is during the BYU vs. Florida game when we lost in overtime.  Bruce and I were yelling at the TV because the game was so intense and then Madi starting yelling too.

A Shout-Out to All Things Happy

Happy.  That is what I am today.  Is it because I had a piece of pie for breakfast? Possibly. Is it because Madi has finally seemed to get over her teething pain/sleeplessness? Could be.  It's definitely not the weather because it is still c. o. l. d. COLD! It is definitely not because BYU and UNC progressed to the next round of March Madness, because they didn't. Sad day. I think I know what it is.  I'M PREGNANT!!! Ok, no that's not it either. Haha.  Should I just come out and say it? Ok, I will.  I am so happy because...drum roll...I am in love! =)

I am in love with my daughter and my husband.  Bruce is an amazing husband who works so hard for our family.  He is a great leader in our home and always tries to do the right thing. I love that he is just as big a dork as I am.  Madi is so adorable and makes me so happy.  She always gives me the sweetest smiles and is such a good girl. I love my Father in Heaven.  He blesses my life so abundantly.  He pushes me and helps me to become who He wants me to be. I am in love with the warm fuzzies I get when I'm around family. I also love having things to look forward too.  Like...

-General Conference
-Easter
-Mah Birfday
-Weston comes home from his mission in 3 1/2 months
-Summer
-Vacations with family

Glorious, glorious, glorious. Life is glorious!  Happy Monday everyone!!!

Lately...

I feel like I haven't blogged in forever. And by forever I mean a couple of hours. Ha! Seriously though, until today it has been a while. There hasn't been too much to write about given the fact that Utah's "spring" is practically non-existent and we are still stuck indoors most of the time. We did enjoy a few days of nice weather last week. We even went on a few walks! Score! And it snowed to today. That was awesome too...

Here is a little bit of what we have been doing lately. We were bored so we decided to explore Park City since neither of us had ever been.  Holy cow there was a lot of snow there.  It was definitely too cold for my liking, and the streets were too narrow. I felt claustrophobic just driving around. But it was fun to just get away and spend time together.

Madi has learned how to climb on and in things.
Madi also loves to steal my water bottle.  It think it's funny because the bottle is so big.
She learned how to color.
And eat crayons. Yum!
Isn't she just so gosh darn cute! Love her!

We have also been going to BYU Gymnastics meets, watching BYU and UNC in the NCAA tourney, and going to story time at the library.  Madi is also learning how to help mommy clean as well as how to voice her own opinion(ah, the fun begins!). ;) We just love life, and we love each other!

Mema Comes to Utah

Last week my mom came to Utah for a short visit.  Of course we LOVED having her here as always. While she was here we did a little shopping, went to the park, hung out with family, and ate... A LOT of really good food! It took Madi a little while to warm up to my mom. When Mema first got in the car she got a little scowl from Madi, and then after we got home and Madi woke up from her nap, she gave Mema another look like, "why is this woman still here?". But by the end of the trip Madi was really loving having Mema here and especially loving all the extra attention.  It was really sad when Madi woke up Monday morning and my mom was gone.  She looked all over the apartment when she woke up and I could tell she was a little disappointed when she didn't see Mema anywhere.  Sad!  But we are grateful that we at least got to see her for a little bit and are so grateful for everything she did for us while she was here.

I am kicking myself for not taking more pictures. Here is the only one I got.
Eating some yummy dark chocolate frozen yogurt at Red Mango. Isn't my mom so beautiful?

Next on the calendar to visit is Grandpa.  He just needs to hurry up and buy tickets!
