Visit to NC

At the beginning of September we got to go to NC to visit family for about 2 weeks.  It was so nice to spend time with my family but as always it was very hard to leave.  I may or may not have cried....just sayin'. ;) Anyways, I love them so much and really wish that we weren't so far apart.  Madi wanted to tell you what we did on our trip so I will let her do it.

Hello, Madi here.  We did a lot of fun things in NC.  One of those things was going to the zoo.  It was my first time.  I really liked seeing all the animals.  I was looking really cute that day so most of the pictures are of me instead of the animals we saw...I just can't help it. ;)

I really liked watching the sea lions swim around.

Daddy let me ride on his shoulders.

I wanted to play with the bees.

This is me just being cute!

We also went on a hike to Hanging Rock and some nearby waterfalls.  Mommy and Daddy thought the hike was steep but I thought it was easy.

That is where we are headed.

We made it to the top! It was so pretty!

This tree was really cool so we took a picture on it.

 Pretty little waterfall.

 Picture with Mema.

 And Grandpa.

I fell asleep while Aunt Allie was holding me.  It's hard work looking cute and hiking at the same time.

We also did other fun things like going to a water park, visiting with great grandma and grandpa, and eating lots of yummy food. Grandpa let me try yummy things that mommy and daddy never give me.  One of those things I really liked was ice cream.  This is a picture of daddy standing under the Bruster's sign...get it....Bruce-Sters.....hehe...well my mommy thinks its funny.

Here is a picture of me playing with Uncle Zack.  I liked to stare at Uncle Zack a lot because he looks funny.  Just pickin'. He was a lot of fun to play with.

Waiting patiently for mommy to fix my food. Don't I look like a cute little buddha?

I also got two teeth in while we were in NC.  I was a really good girl and didn't fuss a bit!

All in all it was a really fun trip and I can't wait to go back for Thanksgiving!!!
